Efficiency has its place. So does automation. We can benefit from innovations like that. At a personal level we can save time, protect resources, and conserve energy.
The question is . . . for what?
Our modern task is to convert the time, energy, and resources we save through automation and efficiencies into value with purpose and meaning.
That’s no different from our historical task. It’s not new to us. What has changed is the environment in which you pursue that task.
Ask yourself today: “Is the automation and efficiency in my life to serve a purposeful direction or more creating a fragile bubble of comfort?”
Everything is training for something. Do the work.
