Four Focus Friday: Do Hard Things

The modern world does its best to fool you into believing an easy life is the ideal life. It attracts you with convenience then slowly kills you with comfort.

This is the antidote.

  1. Keep uncertainty central in your daily activity . . . if you want to create security through your own actions and thrive in unpredictable environments.
  2. Do physically demanding things with frequent failure rates . . . if you want mental clarity, emotional strength, and physical longevity.
  3. Put ultimate gains over immediate interests . . . if you want more value and better opportunities.
  4. Struggle with something interesting and valuable to you at all times . . . if you want to avoid boredom, feel alive, and continue growing as a person.

Embrace the chase. Do the work.
