Simple. Focused. Actions.

You might have been caught off guard by 2020. Lesson learned? Good.

Don’t make the mistake of believing that the end of the calendar year in any way changes the set of circumstances around us or ahead of us. Optimism says we can endure and we will thrive. Realism says more, possibly greater, difficulty is ahead and we don’t know how long it will last.

The game plan doesn’t change in the new year. But your commitment to it might need a reset.

  • As complexity increases to the point of confusion, embrace more simplicity.
  • As noise increases to the point of distraction, embrace better focus.
  • As uncertainty increases to the point of anxiety, embrace simple focused actions.

Discipline is the shortcut. Do the work.
