The 6 Questions That Eliminate Excuses

When you sense within yourself an unmet need, unsolved issue, or unfulfilled goal, ask yourself six questions:

  1. Is this solvable or not?
  2. Are there known reliable solutions or not?
  3. Am I aware of the solutions or not?
  4. Am I doing any of these solutions or not?
  5. Am I doing the solution well or not?
  6. Have I done the solution long enough or not?

If you ask and answer these questions honestly, I guarantee two things happen:

  1. Your self-awareness will skyrocket.
  2. You will see where you need stronger discipline.

Then engage the Simplifier (or Yoda) Role of discipline: do or do not.

Event + Response = Outcome. Do the work.
