Walking down an uncrowded path

There’s no doubt that the more disciplined you become, the less like other people you’ll be. It’s a near direct ratio. As discipline increases, the number of people willing to keep pace decreases. As standards go up, the crowd goes down.

That makes discipline a lonely place to be sometimes. There are definitely more popular activities. The majority never gravitates to the higher standard. So going down that path will be always, always, always be for the few not the many.

It all depends on the choice you make for yourself. What do you value the most: being part of the bigger crowd or being a better you?

Embrace the chase. Do the work.
