You’re chasing fulfillment again

Life is good when everything is clicking. You have clarity, purpose, and focus. You have the skills needed to win the moment. You feel alive and important. Like what you do matters. Like your life has a very real meaning. That’s fulfillment.

Call it what you want. But that’s what you’re really after.

But here’s where it gets painful. You’ve felt it before. You know exactly how good it feels. Then it somehow slipped through your fingers. You lost it. Now you’re chasing it
again.

If you are going to create personal fulfillment, you must understand three things:

  1. Fulfillment lives within you, not in what happens.
  2. Fulfillment doesn’t come find you. You create it right where you are.
  3. Fulfillment doesn’t last. You have to create it again and again.

That third one stings. Your desire for fulfillment is endless. You want it to last forever, but it doesn’t. It can’t. It always fades.

Tomorrow I’ll show you why fulfillment has such a short life span. And what you can do about it.

Event + Response = Outcome. Do the work.
