Problems will take up any available space in your mind if you let them. They're attention seekers, squeaky wheels attempting to inflate their self-importance.
Non-issues impersonate real issues. Minor problems portray themselves as crises. Temporary misfortune acts the part of irreparable damage. They drown your joy, snuff your kindness, and bury your dreams.
You have every opportunity to identify problems and fixate on them until you convince yourself that life can't move forward as long as those issues are present if that's what you want to do.
I don't think Ralph Waldo Emerson used E+R=O (Event + Response = Outcome), but he would certainly approve of it. He said, "Don't be pushed by your problems. Be led by your dreams."
There is an extraordinary difference between a life spent reacting to events vs. a life spent pursuing outcomes.
Events bring obstacles, inconveniences, and, yes, problems. You can allow circumstances to dictate your life, or you can lift your gaze above the fray to the horizon of who you want to become, what you want to accomplish, and where you want to go.
Don't allow your problems to be the backseat drivers of your life. Focus your attention and energy on making your vision for your life come true.
The time is now. Do the work.
