Find the bugs in your system.

Yesterday, I shared 12 Examples of Internal Misalignment. But, like I said, those are the simple examples. The binary examples. The 1:1 misalignments.

More often than we acknowledge, our internal alignment is more than two opposing forces. It is not a binary 1:1, but many forces within us pulling in various directions.

Desire pulling one way. Comfort pulling a different way. Fear pulling another way. Responsibility pulling another different way. Routine pulling yet another way.

It is common to feel the pull of several forces within you, each pulling in a different direction. It is a disorienting feeling. So disorienting that it freezes you or keeps you walking in circles, going nowhere. No conviction. No meaningful progress. Not fully living. Not entirely trusting yourself or your path.

Disorienting describes the experience of internal misalignment. Failure through inaction or ineffective action is the consequence. We sense the absence of integrity within ourselves, and it blocks us from the action required to reach our objective.

Internal misalignment represents an impurity – a bug or a disconnect within our system. Our system will only function as desired, as it is capable, if we resolve that disconnect, fix that bug, or remove that impurity.

Our brain recognizes it. Our body feels it. Our mind knows it. Our heart carries it.

Brick by brick. Do the work.
