There are two kinds of people in this world:
- Those who want to do difficult things.
- Those who want to avoid difficult things.
Which one are you?
You don't need long to think about this. You know.
Not that you've been that way all your life. Maybe you have. Not that you can't change whenever you choose. You can.
But you know the truth about which way you're living.
Other people recognize it, too. Have you ever thought about that?
The people who know you, who spend time with you, know whether you want to do difficult things or avoid them. They've seen you in enough situations and recognized your patterns. They don't know all your thoughts, but they don't need to know them. Your actions speak for themselves.
Only you know the deeper truth. Only you know what is true in your identity. If you want to do difficult things, make it known through your actions and make it impossible to deny.
But if you want to avoid difficult things, don't act surprised when the rest of us recognize it. And don't get offended by how the people around you respond to your choice.
Brick by brick. Do the work.
