Not working out might minimize the pain of physical exercise, but it amplifies the pain of being unhealthy, insecure, or out of shape.

Avoiding a difficult conversation might alleviate discomfort in the immediate discussion, but it intensifies the discomfort within you and, therefore, the relationship moving forward.

You're not removing pain and discomfort through your choices. You're only trading one pain for another, transferring discomfort from one place to a different place.

Pain and discomfort are always present. Your decisions determine whether they serve a meaningful purpose or an empty one.

The time is now. Do the work.
