Living with intense discipline, you might miss out on certain enjoyable things, but you will undoubtedly eliminate significant problems that have plagued you for a while and certainly create new value.

So the question becomes, “Is the slight increase in pleasure I gain by avoiding discipline worth the heavy problems that avoiding discipline creates?”

Phrased through an intentionally positive lens, “What would have a better net impact on my life -- avoiding discipline and keeping my little pleasures or committing to discipline and eliminating the issues weighing me down?”

These are questions you are constantly calculating and deciding in some form already. They may be worth doing more purposefully and definitively.

The time is now. Do the work.
